It’s Electrifying: The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Comic-Con Footage Finds Its Way Online
You know how these things go. They get taken down but another one pops back up. Just keep checking back in if it’s down. We’ll keep updating as quick as we can when it’s needed so you can watch the footage.
The four minutes of footage shown for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 at this year’s Comic-Con has found its way online. The video, found by our own Nerdy Geek, is in surprisingly good quality for a bootleg. The footage gives us a great taste of what Marc Webb and company have in store for us in the sequel. We see Andrew Garfield playing a more carefree and witty Spider-Man who is just living life and enjoying his powers. We don’t see Paul Giamatti in his Rhino rig, but we do get to see the actor interacting with Spidey as Aleksei. But the biggest thing in the footage is an overview of Electro’s character arc. We see him go from a nerdy Oscorp employ to the guy that is destroying Times Square. You can watch the footage below while it’s still up. Skip to the 4:30 mark. We’ll keep updating the link as many times as we can. What do you think of our first look at The Amazing Spider-Man 2?
In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
