It Looks Like The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Reboot May Have Found Its Shredder
Today seems to be TMNT day. We got our first real look at three of the four Turtles pre-CGI not too long ago, and now we’re getting some new casting news. Deadline is reporting that William Fichtner has come aboard the Jonathan Liebesman directed, Michael Bay produced reboot. Details are scare on who he is playing, but Deadline seems to give a really big hint.
According to their sources, Fichtner who is known for his outings in Prison Break, Armageddon, and the upcoming Lone Ranger is “not playing a turtle in Paramount’s reboot…but Fichtner is said to be playing a lead with iconic stature in the Turtles’ mythology.” We know that the spots for April, Splinter, and all four turtles are already filled. There are still a lot of possible roles left, but from what we know about the movie Shredder is the most likely candidate. Fichtner is known for more villainous roles, so it’s not hard to connect the dots. It’s not confirmed so take this with a grain of salt for now. What do you think about Fichtner either playing or lending his voice to the Turtles’ big bad?
