Is It Magical Underwear That Makes Paul Giamatti The Rhino?

by

spider-man bannerA new day, a new batch of Amazing Spider-Man 2 set photos. Today’s images seem to be a continuation of a scene we saw the other day where Paul Giamatti was driving a big rig with a Spider-Man hood ornament. Giamatti’s Aleksei Sytsevich hops out and starts running with a mysterious looking vile of (probably) Oscrop property with Spider-Man hot on his tail. As you can see below, the web slinger catches up with Aleksei and has a little fun with the thief. The wise-cracking Spidey is in full force and he uses his web to pants Aleksei. What’s more interesting is Giamatti’s choice of unmentionables. He has a nice Rhino print pair of boxers. Does this hint that Aleksei is just a really tough dude who likes rhinos so that’s his nickname, or is there more to that orange vile? Will he follow Curt Connors footsteps and be a Rhino/human hybrid or at least get a Rhino suit? The images come from Fan-Girl.org (via Badass Digest) who have a ton of set photos you can check out by clicking the source link. Sound off with your thoughts below.

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past. The Marc Webb directed sequel will swing into theaters May 2, 2014.
