Iron Man 3 Concept Art for Hulkbuster and Space Armors

As we move closer to the release date of Iron Man 3 and Marvel’s ”Phase 2″ of it’s films, we are getting more and more news about the film and that includes some great images and posters. The latest in this department is some concept are from the upcoming sequel, coming from the Marvel Cinematic Universe page on Facebook, which shows off the Space Armor and the always popular Hulkbuster Armor.
The Space Armor, which is on the left, features a new color scheme and is obviously a tribute to the traditional space suit worn by astronauts for some time. Have to say, that’s a pretty bad-ass setup. The other armor featured is the Hulkbuster Armor, which many fans were hoping would appear in the Avengers. But now that we know the storyline of the team up film, it’s no wonder we never saw it show up. However, if rumors prove to be true, we could very well see the armor put to use in future films.
Having said that, I’m not as much a fan of the Hulkbuster Armor as I am the Space Armor. I’m reminded of a Jim Henson puppet from The Dark Crystal. No word on whether either of these armors will make an appearance in Iron Man 3, as a part of Tony’s rumored 45-ish armors that will appear in the film. Time will tell, eh?
