Images And Voice Cast For DC’s Animated The Dark Knight Returns

Warner Bros. has revealed who will be voicing the characters for its DVD release of Frank Miller’s 1986 classic, The Dark Knight Returns as well as some first look images. Peter Weller (Robocop) will star as an Older Bruce Wayne and Batman and Ariel Winter (from Modern Family) will voice Robin. Because it is a big story, DC will split the movie into two animated features- Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 and Part 2/ The first part will be released in the fall with part two coming out in early 2013.
David Shelby, Wade Williams as Harvey Dent, and Michael McKean as Dr. Wolper round out the cast. Jay Olivia who storyboarded the upcoming Supeman movie is helming with Bob Goodman who writes for Syfy’s Warehouse 13 penning the script.The Hollywood Reporter has the exclusive images and cast announcement. Yeah, Superman vs. The Elite looks very meh but this one is shaping up VERY nicely.
