IDW’s Star Trek #21 Picks Up Right Where The Movie Left Off

IDW ran a fantastic prequel comic ahead of Star Trek Into Darkness, and now they’re using a few issues of the Star Trek ongoing series to give the film an epilogue. Star Trek #21, written by Mike Johnson with a story overseen by the movie’s writer and producer Roberto Orci, will pick up where Into Darkness left off. Not only will the comic serve as a bookend to the film, it will also wrap up some of the threads from the prequel comic as well. You can check out the preview pages courtesy of CBR below. It sure does seem like Star Trek 3 will deal with Klingons. That is if the movie and comics are anything to go by *hint, hint* What do you think? The comic features art by Erfan Fajar and will hit stands this Wednesday.

The hit ongoing STAR TREK series picks up right where this year’s blockbuster sequel STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS leaves off! Don’t miss the all-new adventures of the crew as they go boldly into the unknown, in a story overseen by STAR TREK writer/producer Roberto Orci!
