Hugh Jackman In Talks For Return In First Class Sequel
It was just a few days ago that director Bryan Singer announced that Sir Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen would be reprising their roles as Prof. Charles Xavier and Magnet for the First Class Sequel, Days of Future Past. Well now we have another original cast member that could be showing up- Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. While he had a cameo in First Class, he will probably have more screen time in the sequel.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, sources are confirming that Jackman is in negotiations to return. This would make two outings for Wolverine in a relatively short time. We have next summer’s The Wolverine by James Mangold and now the potential First Class appearance. If Singer sticks close to the comic for Days of Future Past, Jackman will have a pretty substantial part. The time traveling story by Chris Claremont sees the X-Men trying to prevent a future where mutants are tracked down and killed by Sentinels. What do you think about Wolverine’s potential return for Days of Future Past?
