House Of Cards’ Corey Stoll Said To Be In Talks For ANT-MAN
It has been a few weeks since we heard any casting news and rumors regarding Ant-Man, Edgar Wright‘s long gestating Marvel movie about the diminutive hero. Well tonight that drought has ended thanks to a report from The Wrap that House of Cards season one standout Corey Stoll is in talks for an unspecified role.
According to the site, Stoll, who played Representative Peter Russo in House of Cards season one, is in talks for a role that is being kept under wraps for now. There’s not even an indication on whether it would be a hero or villain role. Stoll is having quite the hot streak post-House of Cards. He will soon star in Shawn Levy‘s This Is Where I Leave You and will be the leading man in the FX adaptation of Guillermo del Toro‘s The Strain. If things work out, Stoll will join Paul Rudd (Scott Lang) and Michael Douglas (Hank Pym) in the Wright directed film co-written by Joe Cornish. Ant-Man begins filming soon and is set for a July 31. 2015 release. What do you think about the newest *potential* addition to the cast?
