Hawkeye #7 was put together soon after the devastating events of hurricane Sandy. Marvel shifted the Hawkeye schedule so Matt Fraction could pen an issue showing the hero dealing with the storm that hit New York and New Jersey earlier this year. Fraction even announced that all of his royalties for this issue will go to the Red Cross. He challenged fans to buy the issue and make him write a check that hurts.
Hawkeye #7 will be split into two parts. Clint Barton helps a friend evacuate his father from Queens and Kate Bishop is at a five-star hotel in Atlantic City that begins to flood. Two artist will tackle the special issue. Clint Barton’s story will be drawn by Steve Lieber and Kate Bishop’s section will be handled by Jessee Hamm. Regular series artist David Aja returns with #8. Robot 6 revealed the five page preview, take a look.
