Right now I am very infuriated. I am so upset about this news. Yes, Kevin pennington has shared with fans via his Twitter account that Lucas Till, the actor who will be playing Havok in the upcoming movie X-Men: First Class, shares an interesting relationship with Scott Summers!!

If you do not know a lot about the character Havok read the following info, courtesy of Wikipedia:
Alexander Summers was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is the second of the three known sons of Christopher Summers, a United States Air Force Major and test pilot and his wife Katherine Anne. When Alex was a boy growing up in Anchorage, Alaska, United States, his father took the family for a flight in their airplane, which came under attack by a Shi’ar spaceship. As the plane caught fire and was crashing, his parents fastened Alex and his older brother, Scott, into a parachute and pushed them off the plane in hopes that they would survive.
The Summers boys were recovered and put into an orphanage and Alex was soon adopted though his brother Scott remained there for much of his childhood. Alex was raised by the Blandings; a family whose son, Todd, had died in a car accident.[1] They tried to make Alex fit into the image of their son, and he tried to do as best he could. When the boy responsible for Todd’s death kidnapped Alex and his foster sister, Haley, Alex manifested his powers for the first time, incinerating the boy. Mister Sinister, an evil geneticist who was obsessed with the Summers bloodline, appeared eager yet surprised that Alex’s potential exceeded Scott’s — despite the fact that he seemed to lack control over his gift. Sinister placed psi-blocks on both Alex and Haley’s minds, causing them to forget what had happened that night.
Why would you do this to the story!? Isn’t bad already that Angel will be a female, that Jean and Cyclops and Ice-Man wont be on it? I mean this is the First Class:
Why is this so hard to comprehend? If they really cared about the fans, they would have stopped doing this dumb changes a while ago. I understand the concept of a comic book movie, it can’t be done exactly the same way as in the comic, but this is ridiculous. You can change a few things, not the essence of the comic! They also changed the color of the beam! Wow! Ok..maybe thats not such a huge deal but come on!

WTF?????? Are you effin' kidding me? This has to be a sick joke. If this is true then I want to punch someone at Marvel for allowing this to happen.
Marvel has no control over this production it is a Fox movie.

This is utter bullshit, but the one thing this article got wrong is that Angel will be female.
It's actually another character named Angel Salvador who belongs nowhere in First Class.
Angel Salvadore is fourteen years old when her mutant nature first manifests she awakes and discovers that a cocoon has formed; she emerges after sprouting a pair of wings. So her name is ANGEL indeed, and has WINGS.

They should have named the movie something else. The reason they had to change all that guys is becasue this movie takes place before any of the other characters are around. This is an origin story to Professor X and Magneto and a prequel to the other films. It sucks and I am a big fan of the comics so I am pissed, but also understand that if you follow the other films plot angel and iceman cant be in it. But I agree the Havok thing is messed up and Havok shouldnt be in the film.
This is clearly one of the most asinine and absurd things done in any marvel movie to date. They're taking Scott's little brother who is an AWESOME character in his own right, and turning him into Cyclops' father…who in actuality is already one of the cooler characters in the X-Men universe in Corsair.
I already boycotted X-Men Origins- Wolverine due to the stupidity. This movie will not be seen by me. It's pathetic! This garbage is insulting!
