Harvey Bullock Featured In First Official Image From GOTHAM
Fox is currently moving full steam ahead with their highly anticipated series Gotham. The network skipped the normal pilot option and ordered the project straight to series and after a pretty quick and spectacular casting process, the show is currently filming. We’ve seen a few unofficial behind-the-scenes images surface, mostly featured the show’s star Ben McKenzie doing a lot of running and jumping over walls.
Today, we get our first official image from Gotham and it features none other than the perfectly cast Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock. Fans of the Batman universe will know Bullock as the rough and tough “mentor” of a young Detective Jim Gordon, who is being played by Ben McKenzie. Gotham centers on Gordon as he enters the city’s police department with a different view and morale than his fellow officers. Gordon will focus his attention on a recent murder of a well-off couple known to many as The Wayne’s, which leaves their young son Bruce Wayne an orphan living with his butler Alfred. The series will show the origins of several of the city’s most notorious criminals and characters, including Penguin, Catwoman and quite possibly The Joker.
Joining Donal Logue and Ben McKenzie will be Jada Pinkett Smith, Sara Paxton, Sean Pertwee, David Mazouz, Camren Bicondova, Robin Taylor and Zabryna Guevara. A premier date has not been revealed, but you can expect to see the series show up later this year. It’s likely that we’ll see more of these pics show up in the very near future as well.
