Mark Neveldine & Brian Taylor-duo-directed Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance sequel is hitting theaters next month and Sony is now on full speed in the marketing front.
This new TV spot was previously seen in low-quality back in December. It shows star Nicolas Cage being told that he must take up the mantle of the Ghost Rider again to save the world and rid himself of his curse.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance sees Blaze recruited to rescue a young boy (Fergus Riordan) from Satan (Ciaran Hinds).
Directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor have said that the second film is a reboot that ignores the events of the first, much-maligned Ghost Rider movie.
Marvel was recently granted continued ownership of Ghost Rider following an unsuccessful lawsuit brought against them by co-creator Gary Friedrich.
Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance picks up where it’s been several years since making a deal with the Devil and Johnny Blaze, living in self-imposed isolation, finds himself as the only person who can help save 10-year-old Danny – and ultimately the world – thanks to his unwanted and uncontrollable power – his ability to transform into the hell-on-wheels monster ‘Ghost Rider’. Starring Nicolas Cage, Idris Elba, Ciarán Hinds, Christopher Lambert & Violante Placido.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is released in 3D on February 17 in US and UK cinemas.
