Get A Better Look At The Classic Costume Almost Used In THE WOLVERINE
The classic Wolverine costume that was almost used in James Mangold‘s film has been the talk of the internet since pictures of the mock-up suit were leaked. Things reached an entirely new level of frenzy when the deleted scene showing Hugh Jackman opening up a box containing the suit hit the web the other week. Well tonight some officially released snaps of the costume have found their way online. We get to see the suit fans have been waiting to see on the big screen in all of its comic book accurate awesomeness in great detail.
Tonight a special screening of a full, uncut and extended edition of The Wolverine is being screened for select critics. James Mangold will take part in a special Q&A afterwards as well. Outside of the screening area Fox had set up a special display of some props used in the film. The Wolverine Facebook page has been posting a few select shots, but a quick Twitter search turns up some better images of that glorious costume. Below you can see the main display case containing the suit, Wolverine‘s Adamantium claws, and his bone claws. You can see the costume and how the gloves would allow Wolvie to pop his claws. With Mangold and Jackman coming back for another round, hopefully the costume doesn’t get cut a second time. What do you think of the clearer images?
