Geoff John Ends Long Time Green Lantern Run
As the title states one of DC Comics top writers and Chief Creative Officer is stepping away from Green Lantern a title he revitalized in October 2004 with the first issue of Green Lantern: Rebirth bringing back fan favorite and long deceased Green Lantern Hal Jordan. Giving new life and new meaning to the GL franchise Johns has written amazing stories and helped revive a character that I as a fan started reading in 2001 during all of the Kyle Rayner stories. Seeing him leave something he rebuilt and brought back from obscurity is a sad thing, but seeing what he can do with other characters is an exciting prospect. His run ends on issue #20 of Green Lantern and earlier on DC Comics the Source website he posted a note, if you haven’t seen it it is posted below, as always all credit for anything DC goes to DC Entertainment.
