Full-Length Pacific Rim Featurette & Uncensored Interview Promo
The film that has the biggest question marks attached to it this summer is probably Guillermo Del Toro’s epic monsters versus robots flick Pacific Rim. A few weeks ago,, it was learned that the film wasn’t tracking to well with folks who are not of the geek world. This week, reviews have started to roll in and, for the most part, they’ve been fairly positive, with a majority of them saying that Del Toro has put together a visual spectacle. The question still remains as to whether movie-goers will hit theaters to hand over their hard-earned money to watch it this weekend.
For those of us who can’t get enough of the mayhem, a new 14-minute featurette has been released that goes behind the scenes on the film. Nothing too spoilery here, but there are some great segments that really get into the characters and their role in the film, as well as a bit of history on the battle between the Kaiju and the Jaegers. Think of it as a pre-mature DVD/Blu-ray special feature. The second video is a short interview segment featured on Cinemax that is uncensored an all sorts of sweary. It’s short, but you can see the comradery that the cast has. Don’t forget to check out Pacific Rim this weekend, starring Charlie Hunnam, Charlie Day, Idris Elba, Ron Perlman and Rinko Kikuchi.
