Fox’s GOTHAM Pilot Finds Its Director
We’ve heard a lot about what’s going on during the rest of season two of Arrow and we’ve heard a little bit about the Flash pilot, but we haven’t heard much about DC‘s other TV shows. Constantine, Hourman, Gotham, and I, Zombie are in the works but we haven’t heard about any of those in a while. Well tonight some Gotham news has hit and it looks like Fox has found their director. He’ll also serve as the executive producer.
Deadline reports that Danny Cannon has been chose to direct and executive produce Fox‘s pilot for the show adapted from Batman lore. The series will focus on a younger James Gordon before he’s the Commissioner and long before he has even met Batman. Cannon has directed and executive produced the CSI franchisee, CW‘s Nikita, and is currently a producer on The Tomorrow People. Gotham landed at Fox after a long bidding war and its already been ordered up for a series. Gotham is said to be a priority project for the network. What do you think about Cannon shepherding Jim Gordon‘s first adventure?
