Flying People Viral Marketing for "Chronicle"

by
The movie “Chronicle” is found footage about a group of high school friends that stumble upon something that gives them super powers. From what I’ve seen in the trailer, they can control physical items with their minds and they can fly. Can you sign me up for that please?

Chronicle

This viral marketing campaign takes place in New York. It’s basically three dudes flying remote controlled airplanes that look like humans. When they show shots of the airplanes from a distance, they actually do look like humans. You may want to turn down your volume because the techno background music is pretty awful.

This is a pretty cool idea marketing idea. I’ve been really big fan of viral marketing since it was done to perfection with “The Dark Knight.” I wonder if this freaked out some people in New York.

“Chronicle” hits theaters on February 3rd.
