Fans have been waiting to get their hands on collectibles from the classic Batman series staring Adam West for years. Last summer we heard a deal had been reached between Fox and Warner Bros. so action figures, costumes, and models based on the cult classic can finally get released. Last week we got the press release announcing what exactly was coming, and now we have our first look at the figures.
Next week Toy Fair 2013 will kick off, but Mattel rolled out our first batch of images for their upcoming Batman line. USA Today snagged the info on the 6″ Adam West Batman figure as well as the Batmobile toy. The Batmobile will be in-scale so you can have Batman riding around fighting all manner of toy figure villainy. Entertainment Earth gave us a look at the first two figures Batman will be giving the ol’ POW! BAM! to: The Riddler and the Penguin. They are also 6″ figures and bear the likenesses of Frank Gorshin and Burgess Meredith respectively. The 6″ figures will run $15 dollars according to USA Today and the Batmobile will run about $50. With Toy Fair 2013 starting next week, expect a lot more news on the upcoming line set to hit shelves later this year.
