First Pic Of Jamie Foxx As Max Dillon Before The Transformation In The Amazing Spider-Man 2
We’ve got a few glimpses at Jamie Foxx lit up like a big blue Christmas tree, but now we have our first look at Max Dillion before all those “electrical problems” started. Director Marc Webb took to Twitter today to unveil the new picture. Foxx goes through quite the change from Dillion to Electro as you can tell. You can see pictures of him all lit up in two of our previous stories here and here. We know that Max Dillion becomes obsessed with Spider-Man, and this picture clearly shows it. The red and blue strings are connecting various sightings of the Web Slinger, highlighted by Spider-Man‘s mug right there in the middle. Foxx had touched on Dillon‘s obsession before filming started, saying:
What you’ll see is that, for his whole life, no one is talking to him. People have stolen his ideas at the big company. He’s a nobody. At a certain point, Spider-Man bumps into him and says, ‘You’re my guy. You’re my ears and eyes on the street.’ Then he says his name, [Max] and no one has ever said [Max] Dillon’s name. He goes, ‘Wow’ and, when Spider-Man leaves, he sort of thinks that, ‘I am Spider-Man’s partner!’ He’s cutting out Spider-Man’s face and pasting it on all his boards.
What do you think about Foxx‘s look pre- and post-transformation?
