First Look: Movie Poster For Alfonso Cuaron’s ‘Gravity’!
Director Alfonso Cuaron‘s “Gravity” is hitting theaters this coming October, and today we present you with the first movie poster for “Gravity.” I had the pleasure of watching the teaser trailer at CinemaCon this year and it was beautiful — actually, it was beyond beautiful.
If you don’t know who Alfonso Cuaron is, rectify that immediately and go watch “Children of Men.” Definitely one of my all time favorite movies and it should be yours too.
Anyway, below you can check out the first movie poster for “Gravity” and some sneak peak footage after the jump. Enjoy.
Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney) in command of his last flight before retiring. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone–tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth…and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space. Starring Sandra Bullock, and George Clooney, “Gravity” is directed/written by Alfonso Cuaron and co-written by Jonas Cuaron. “Gravity” is set to hit theaters October 4, 2013 in 3D/2D theaters and IMAX 3D.
