First Look At Michael Jai White As Bronze Tiger In Arrow Season 2
A lot has been happening in the world of Arrow lately. Most recently we learned that Grant Gustin will play Barry Allen aka Flash in three episodes this season. A few months ago we heard that Michael Jai White (Spawn) would be joining the Suicide Squad as Bronze Tiger, at least as a more realistic take on the tiger-headed comic book character. Today we get our first look at White locked in combat with star Stephen Amell.
White will play a recurring role and find his character teaming up with China White and the Chinese Triad. Executive producer Marc Guggenheim said the character is the best of the best, and comes to Starling City looking to see if the Hood can offer up a challenge. Guggenheim went on to praise White and the Arrow team, saying “Michael Jai White is playing Bronze Tiger and he is such a badass. His performance, our kick-ass stunt department, our incredibly talented costumer designer, and our very gifted props master…they’ve all combined their A-games to create a really great representation of this DC Comics character. … If you’re a fan of the character from the comics, you are going to really happy with his ‘Arrow’-fication.” While some folks on the web have poked fun at the image, calling the character a “thrift store Wolverine,” I think we should wait and see what Michael Jai White brings to the role. He definitely has the physicality to make the martial arts master come to life on the small screen. What do you think about our first look at Bronze Tiger?
