First Look At Jae Lee’s Interior Art For Batman/Superman #1
The last issue of Superman/Batman was published way back in 2011. While we’ve seen the Man of Steel team up with the Caped Crusader team up numerous times since then, even more since we’ve gotten the New 52, some fans just don’t think it feels the same. That’s why many were thrilled to hear writer Greg Pak and artist Jae Lee would be working on a new series. Though this time around Batman gets top billing, a new series featuring the two iconic heroes will launch this June. We’ve seen the cover for issues #1 and 2 in DC‘s solicts, but we’re getting our first look at Lee’s interior work today. The artist’s trademark style works to brilliant effect on the preview pages. The main thrust of the preview shows Clark Kent possibly tracking down a story, but the full spread contrasting Superman and Batman is stunning. You can check out the pages for Batman/Superman courtesy of DC below. The first issue hits stores June 5th. What do you think of Jae Lee‘s art?
A new epic begins with the debut of this new, ongoing series! Don’t miss the first fateful meeting of Batman and Superman in The New 52!
