First Look At Doctor Who’s New Ice Warriors

People have been saying the Ice Warriors would return since Doctor Who came back to our TV’s in 2005. Eight long years later the inhabitants of Mars will be coming back to face off against Matt Smith‘s Doctor later this year. The Ice Warriors will feature in Mark Gatiss‘ episode slated as the third show after Doctor Who returns at the end of this month. SFX got the first look at the newly redesigned monsters. They seem to have stayed pretty true to the original design debuting in the Troughton era, save for the hands. Instead of the claw/clamp looking hand of old, we have three digit hands. Under the new version we have a pic of the original so you can compare the two. Take a look. What do you think of the new design?
