First Image From Justice League: War Released; First Trailer To Come In October?

by

BSYPpyACYAAXmjQJustice League: The Flashpoint Paradox was released earlier this year, and when it was released people were wondering if that was going to be the movie that would kick off The New 52 for DC Animation. The answer was a resounding yes, as it was announced a short time ago that the next DC Animated film would be Justice League: War. This film will be based on the first ever comic from The New 52 that was written by Geoff Johns with art by Jim Lee, and follows the Justice League from formation to their first battle together.

With no firm release date announced it’s hard to say when the movie will hit shelves. However, today we get our first look at the film in the form of it’s first still. The picture (featured to the right) shows off Batman, who will be voiced by Jason O’Mara. While it’s a close up image that doesn’t really show much off, it gives us a good indication of the animation style that they will be shooting for in the movie.

Further more I contacted Warner Brothers PR extraordinaire Gary Miereanu, who handles all of the DC Animated movies, on Twitter to see when we might happen to see the first trailer for the film. While he didn’t give me a solid straight forward answer he did have the following to say:

So there you have it, it’s not set in stone that we will get a trailer, but it looks as if we can expect some new goodies for Justice League: War in the month of October. I personally am really looking forward to this one. For the latest on all thing DC Animation, make sure to check back here at Comic Book Therapy.
