First AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Poster Shows Off A Cornucopia Of Villains

spider-man bannerThe first poster for Marc Webb‘s Spider-Man sequel has been spotted. We’ll be getting the first official trailer next week, but a theater banner has been seen featuring Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) facing off against Electro (Jamie Foxx), Rhino (Paul Giamatti) and what looks to be the Green Goblin (Chris Cooper or Dane DeHaan). The pic comes from a Twitter user who saw it while checking out a late evening movie this Thanksgiving day. Thanks to @Marvel_Spider for bringing it to everyone’s attention. The image also confirms the suspicion that the Rhino suit in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 would be more robotic than what we’re used to in the main Marvel 616 universe. Like most everything else with the movies so far, they’re going the Ultimate route. The inclusion of the Green Goblin also confirms a lot of what we pretty well already figure out, though we’ll have to wait and see if it’s Norman or Harry Osborn under that mask. What do you think of the first poster?

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
