The FANTASTIC FOUR Reboot Is Still Happening: New Filming Date Announced
The Fantastic Four reboot has been pushed back several times and had a few different writers come in to polish and/or rewrite the script, but it looks like things might actually get going this time. It was announced earlier today that instead of cameras rolling in mid-February, things will kick off March 31 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Simon Kinberg was the latest writer to come in and rewrite things, but Matthew Vaughn is still attached as a producer with Josh Trank directing. Mark Millar is the Marvel movie consultant for 20th Century Fox so he will have a hand in things as well. With the studio possibly working on bringing the X-Men and the Fantastic Four together sometime in the near future, a lot is hinging on the reboot. There’s currently no cast in place but Michael B. Jordan is all but officially confirmed for the role of Johnny Storm. If things really do begin this March, then we should expect some casting news soon. Are you glad to hear things are moving along now?
