A Very Famous Homicide May Be The Focus Of The GOTHAM Pilot
The CW has a string of DC related shows in development, but Fox also has a big one on the horizon with Gotham, a series focusing on a young Detective Jim Gordon. It has been a while since we heard anything about that one, but a new rumor has surfaced today regarding the pilot episode. Gotham will focus on a young Gordan and possibly blend some elements of Greg Rucka, Ed Brubaker, and Michael Lark’s Gotham Central series. Fox has ordered it directly to series, so this one is a sure bet compared to some of the other things CW and NBC are working on. It’s being reported that the pilot’s script focuses on “Detective Jim Gordon trying to solve a very famous double homicide.” When you think about that crime and Gotham, you first come up with the deaths of Thomas and Martha Wayne. While it has been said Batman won’t feature in the show, they can definitely start explore the things in and around Bruce Wayne’s life.
