EXCLUSIVE: Knightingail: Dawn of Destiny Artists!

by

Wayne Gardiner and Big Dog Ink are pleased to make the first artist announcements for Knightingail Volume 3: Dawn of Destiny. Italian artist Livia Pastore will be bringing her amazing illustration talents to Knightingail with this next new 6-issue series set to be released in Summer 2014. Livia’s smooth lines and vibrant illustrations were previously seen on comics such as Mediterranea and Extinction Seed for GGstudio comics. With this new Knightingail series, her amazing art will be showcased for all the interior art plus all of the store released Cover As for the series.

Livia’s art will bring a dynamic and contemporary art style to the comic book as shown by these included character sketches and a finished line art page from issue #1. As anyone can see, Livia continues the Knightingail artistic tradition of bringing amazing detailed artwork to the comic – included beautifully rendered backgrounds – along with expressive character designs.

For those who enjoy the original Knightingail art style – which was a contemporary Disney-Manga-mash-up style – Wayne Gardiner is also pleased to announce that the original Knightingail artistic team of Tina Francisco and Katrina Mae Hao will be providing all of the Cover B’s to this new series. The Cover Bs will also be available in comic book stores nationally. Tina’s amazing pencils and Katrina’s vibrant colors helped define the look and feel of the series. Wayne is appreciative of agency Glass House Graphics for freeing them both up to come back to the Knightingail series, which they were instrumental in developing.20140218-200941.jpg20140218-200948.jpg20140218-200958.jpg20140218-201003.jpg
