Eva Green Set to play Ava Lord in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For

Despite production having already begun on Robert Rodriguez’s anticipated Sin Citysequel, more and more actors have signed on to fill roles in the film. We can add one more to that list as Eva Green has signed on to play the iconic Ava Lord in Sin City: A Dame to Kill for.
Frank Miller describes the character as ”every man’s most glorious dreams come true, she’s also every man’s darkest nightmares.” Miller and Rodriguez go on to say:
“We’ve been wanting to tell this story for a very long time. Ava Lord is one of the most deadly and fascinating residents of Sin City. From the start, we knew that the actor would need to be able to embody the multifaceted characteristics of this femme fatale and we found that in Eva Green. We are ecstatic that Eva is joining us.”
Green will join the huge cast of Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Bruce Willis, Rosario Dawson, Jamie King, Josh Brolin, Dennis Haysbert, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Chris Meloni, Jeremy Piven, Jamie Chung, Ray Liotta and Juno Temple. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For combines two of Frank Millers most popular stories with new tales that pits the town’s most hardened citizens against its most hideous inhabitants. The film will release in October of this year.
