‘Dredd’ Sequel “Highly Unlikely,” Could Be A Short Film Though

DREDD fans rejoice!

During a Reddit AMA, Adi Shankar, producer for “Dredd,” stated that a feature-length “Dredd” sequel is “highly unlikely.” Shankar stated that the first installment “totally bombed” and probably wouldn’t be picked up for a sequel. Fans recommended making a kickstarter project for a “Dredd” sequel, however Shankar admitted, “I am working on a Dredd short film, so look out for that!”

Adi Shankar did something similar with a “Punisher” short film called “#DirtyLaundry,” so Shankar knows the ins and outs of crafting a nifty short film.

Also, Adi Shankar showed interest in directing a new “Spawn” film with or without Jamie Foxx. Shankar and Todd McFarlane have expressed interest in working together for the last four years now.

So, who else, besides me, is excited for a new DREDD film and/or short film?!
