Doctor Who Christmas Special 2011 Trailer

During its annual Children in Need charity event yesterday, the BBC aired a short Doctor Who episode written by Steven Moffat and starring Matt Smith.

They also aired the first trailer for this year’s Christmas special! Last year Moffat took on Dickens and this year it’s C.S. Lewis with “The Doctor, The Widow and the Wardrobe.”

As you’ll learn after you watch the videos the BBC is auctioning off Matt’s costume as seen in the Neil Gaiman episode “The Doctor’s Wife.” You can visit the auction, and just so you know at the time of writing this its already up to £30,100.00 , here: Doctor Costume Children In Need Auction.
