Disney Bringing Back the Mouse In New Animated Shorts

For Disney fans out there that think Mickey Mouse and all other staple characters aren’t getting their fair share of TV time these days (like this guy), Disney has something new in store for you!

This past week Disney announced that they will release 19 brand new animated shorts starring Mickey Mouse and other classic Disney characters starting Friday, June 28 and debuting a new one every following Friday. The art style of these shorts are inspired by the classic early-color era of the Disney shorts from the 1930’s-1960’s. Each short will have Mickey in a contemporary setting such as Paris, New York, Tokyo, and many other places. Disney is using this a means to reintroduce Mickey and the gang for a whole new generation of Disney fans.

The first short, Croissant de Triomphe, is up for your viewing pleasure!
