DC Announces Justice League 3000 With Giffen, DeMatteis, And Maguire
We just heard about about DC‘s big Green Lantern crossover “Lights Out” a little while ago, and now the company has moved on to their next big announcement. This time it’s a new ongoing series called Justice League 3000. CBR got the scoop on the series that will reunite Keith Giffen, JM DeMatteis, and Kevin Maguire. If you couldn’t guess from the book’s title, the creative team will launch a new series this fall chronicling the future versions of the DCU‘s heaviest hitters. The book will basically take the void left by the recently canned Legion of Super Heroes. It will feature the year 3000 versions of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and the Flash. Howard Porter is the artist responsible for the character redesigns you see below. One thing worth noting, a lot of fans are pointing out similarities to the 3000 Flash below and one Wally West. We’ll have to wait to find out if it’s more than just a slight resemblance, but we’ll obviously be hearing a lot more about this series soon since that the cat is out of the bag. What do you think of the new designs for Justice League 3000?
