Every Sunday it happens. Having gone through my weekly stash of comics I start thinking of Wednesday and what new books are coming out  :)  Here are a few of the books I’m looking forward to reading  this month and beyond:

I love reading spooky comics and books in October, it adds to the general fun of Halloween. This book by Asylum Press is a modern day retelling of the Headless Horseman story. A headless motorcyclist !

Here is some of the interior art:

Boom Studios has consistently been turning out some interesting books. This one combines Zombies with a bit of sword & sorcery. King Valen Brand has been killed by a Necromancer and now he is an undead, an Outcast to all he encounters. This first issue is only a buck! Definitely worth trying out.

I began reading Superhero Comics in High School ,and discovering Jack Kirby reprint books were the best part of my early comic reading. It was however the New Gods that really grabbed my imagination and gave me hours of reading pleasure. I really enjoy epic space adventures and Sterling Gates seems to be incorporating that into this new series. Really looking forward to it!

Oh, Voltron! This was my first robot cartoon and I fell in love with it!  My childhood gateway to Transformers and Robotech. I’ll definitely check out the first issue to see what the creative team has come up with.

Thats  it for this week. Any books you guys are looking forward to ?
