25 Days of Christmas Therapy: Day 4 “Frosty the Snowman”

Frosty

“There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found cause when they placed it on his head…” These simple lyrics have been with me since I was 5 years old. One of the most prolific characters in my youth Frosty just wanted to play and have fun, he was the greatest counterpart to any child around.

Frosty

Released on December 7th of 1969 and featuring the voices of Jimmy Durante as the narrator, Billy De Wolfe as Professor Hinkle, and Jackie Vernon as Frosty himself this has been a steeple show every Christmas season, and with my nephew being only 9 hopefully we pass it on to him for years to come. A television short that times out under half an hour I reccomend that everyone should take a few minutes and truly enjoy a Christmas classic.
