More Characters Possibly Revealed For JUSTICE LEAGUE
Hot on the heels of the major bombshell news that DC will be looking to churn out almost three movies a year, some possible new information has popped up. While this isn’t no where near as Earth shattering as yesterdays news, for certain fans of these characters, it’s pretty exciting.
The Wrap’s Jeff Snider, reacting off of Nikki Finke’s DC Comic Con movie announcement yesterday, dropped some more info. He posted an agency casting grid that showed that we might be able to expect J’onn J’onzz himself, The Martian Manhunter, in the Justice League movie as well. That’s not all, because he says that in the same casting grid the villain is, surprise surprise, Darkseid. Another character name in for the movie is Maxwell Lord, but it’s not really clear how he would fit into the film.
Stories are changing all the time, so this may not be set in stone. So I wouldn’t get to high on this until some offical word comes out. However, it does appear that there are some feelers out there to get these characters cast and that is all kinds of exciting. Check out Snider’s tweet below, and check back here at Comic Book Therapy for all things DC Movieverse.
