CBT Giveaway: Win The Complete Back To Back To The Future Saga
If you’re a Back To The Future fan, or just a big movie buff, you know that Michael J. Fox wasn’t originally Marty McFly. Eric Stoltz was lined up to be the kid to travel with Doc Brown through time in a DeLorean, but that fell through and Fox was hired after Stoltz had already been filming for five weeks. Some footage of Stoltz was released a few years ago in a Back To the Future Blu-ray set. Since then, fans have been wondering what the film would have been like with Stoltz in the lead. Well writer and producer David Guy Levy answered that question and now 5 of our readers will get a chance to read the whole story.
Levy wrote a six issues digital comic book series based on Back To The Future called Back To Back To The Future, but he gave it a little twist. Over the course of six issues, Levy tells a story of what would happen if the filmmakers went back in time and made it so that Eric Stoltz was never replaced by Michael J. Fox in the series. If that didn’t sound great already, the proceeds for the books will go to the Young Storytellers Foundation. You can check out the foundation’s site by clicking here. What they do is help promote literacy by working with elementary school students to develop their own play, which is then acted out by TV and movie stars during an assembly at the end of the program. You can watch the video below to not only hear about Levy’s story and how you can get the first 3 issues for free, but what the Young Storytellers Foundation will do with the money they raise.
So here’s what you have to do. 5, yes 5, lucky winners (no country restrictions for this contest) will win all 6 issues of Back To Back To The Future. You can read all 6 issues in one fell swoop. To enter, all you have to do is answer one question- Doc Brown drives up in the DeLorean and asks you to get in. He’s going to take you on one trip. Where are you going to go and why? That’s it. There are three ways to answer the question- email me at [email protected], answer in the comment section below and make sure your profile contact information is up to date, or follow me on Twitter @TheThorverine and tell me where you’d go. That’s it. Easy peasy. The contest will run today through Monday the 15th at Noon EST. Check out the video below as well as the covers to each issue of the series.
