Bryan Singer WILL Direct Days Of Future Past

Last week it was announced that Matthew Vaughn had decided not to direct the sequel to First Class and that Fox had a shortlist of directors in mind to replace him. The name mentioned at the top of the list was Bryan Singer, and Deadline is reporting that he now has the job.
Singer has just closed a deal to direct X-Men: Days of Future Past in place of Vaughn. As you well know, Singer directed the first two X-Men movies and has continued to be influential in all the other X-films, writing treatments and producing. Vaughn opted out of directing and instead will produce and play behind the scenes in a similar capacity to what Singer has been doing.
With Singer on the sequel, there won’t be too big of a change in how things would have went originally. The script is already in place and Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, and Jennifer Lawrence to name only a few are already locked in to return. What do you think about Vaughn and Singer essentially switching jobs?

Gasp!
I don’t like Bryan…
The only thing he’s has done that I really liked was Usual Suspects. I think he directed a few House episodes but that’s about it.
