Bryan Singer Takes ‘Quicksilver’ A Little Too Literally In New DAYS OF FUTURE PAST Still
We’ve seen director Bryan Singer tease the process of what goes into filming Pietro “Quicksilver” Maximoff‘s powers, but now we get our first look at Evan Peters as the super speedster. His name is Quicksilver, so they’ve decided he’s going to be quick and he’s going to be be sporting silver hair while wearing a shiny silver suit, some goggles, and sneakers. It may be the 1970s in this picture but Quicksilver looks like he may have been a member of a 1990s boy band.
The new still shows us that Pietro is tagging along with Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and Professor Xavier (James McAvoy) shortly during or after they break Magneto (Michael Fassbender) out of jail. Quicksilver is the son of Magneto in the comics, so it makes sense that he would want to help his old man out. We’ve got our first look at Singer‘s version of Quicksilver, so now the ball is now in Joss Whedon‘s court. The battle of the dueling Quicksilvers is reignited. What do you think about our first look at the character?
