Bryan Singer Hints At How Fast Quicksilver Will Be In Latest Days Of Future Past Twitter Tease
Earlier today we heard some new information from director Bryan Singer during his talk at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal about Days of Future Past (click here). This evening the director has Tweeted out another little teaser for the film that is still in production. We saw Quicksilver‘s house a few weeks ago, but today’s image hints at how fast the silver speedster will be.
The director’s tweet, which you can see below, reveals that he is shooting in 3600 framer per second. That makes for some super, super slow-motion footage. It seems likely that the lights and camera will film some background footage and then Evan Peters‘ acting out the scene will be placed over top of it in post production. Bleeding Cool points out that 3600 frames per second indicates that Quicksilver will be about 150 times faster than an average person. That’s pretty fast. What do you think about the rough math behind figuring out how quick the speedy mutant will go?
