It’s getting easier to say who isn’t going to be in Days of Future Past rather than who’s the new addition. Today director Bryan Singer announced that French star Omar Sy will be joining up. The award winning actor received high praise in the recent film The Intouchables. As is Singer’s way, he made the announcement on his Twitter but didn’t announce who Sy would be playing.
Thrilled to welcome the brilliant #OmarSy from the amazing film #TheIntouchables to the cast of #Xmen #DaysofFuturePast!

As soon as the Tweet hit, many started to speculate (or hope) that the actor would be playing Bishop. As you know, Bishop is the son of mutant refugees notable for the M brand above his eye. The time traveling mutant would be a good fit. It’s all just speculation for now, but we should hear more about Omar Sy before long. Who do you think he will play? Do you hope it is Bishop or somebody or something else entirely?
