Brian Bendis Says Reports Of POWERS Death Are Greatly Exaggerated
By Cody "The Thorverine" Ferrell on Nov 02, 2012 with Comments 1
Earlier today, Latino Review ran a series of scoops that featured the Guillermo del Toro directing a DC dark superheroes team-up (which we ran earlier today). Well among the five scoops was a bit about Brian Michael Bendis’ TV adaptation of Powers. Well that scoop didn’t sit so well with Bendis. He took to Twitter to correct what he saw as wrong.
The original Latino Review report read in part “Apparently FX filmed their SECOND pilot of Brian Michael Bendis’ POWERS comics and well apparently this one doesn’t work either.”
reports in Latino review about the powers pilot are 100% false. every name and fact are incorrect. except for where they like my writing

Here is part of the Twitter exchange that followed.

Powers has been a long time in the making, but Bendis promises news is coming soon about the show. Whose side do you belive? Is Latino Review scooping the show and Bendis doesn’t want to admit it yet, or is there some faulty info somewhere in the mix?

I just don’t get why this guy thinks he can say he knows more than the CREATOR just because he got an email saying otherwise. He runs a fanboy site, they aren’t going to be breaking scoops over the heads of the show’s creator.
