Brent Weeks the Blinding Knife Review

Author Brent Weeks has delivered yet again another novel that was almost impossible put down until the finish. Book two of  his Lightbringer series, the Blinding Knife finds us returning only a few days after the last pages of the Black Prism. Following back up with Kip, the Prism, Iron Fist, Karris, and introduced to new characters major and minor enrich not only the story, but the history of the world Weeks has created.

The Blinding Knife furthers us into this world of magic, secrets, and distrust, as well as showing more of the politics of what has gone on and where Kip, the Prisms son, will wind up fitting into this world he knows very little about. We learn more about Dazen and Gavin Guile, their father Andross, and far more about the relationship between Karris and the Gavin/Dazen.

The Blinding Knife is everything and more of what the Black Prism was, and leaves you wanting so much more at the very end. Without a doubt do yourself a favor if you a fantasy fiction fan and pick up this series, and even if you aren’t really a fan of that genre give it a try!
