Bayhem Reigns In The First Trailer For TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION; Plus OPTIMUS PRIME Gets A Poster
A brief, but action-packed, 30-second spot was released during the Super Bowl for Michael Bay‘s Transformers: Age of Extinction. That Sunday night gave us the very first footage we’ve seen for the Michael Bay directed film that will kick off a brand new Transformers trilogy. There were plenty of Autobts, a few Decepticons, a quick look at the Dinobots, and a couple of explosions, but the highlight had to be Optimus Prime riding Grimlock into battle. Well that has been topped with the release of the first full-length trailer as we get a better look at everything.
Bay and Paramount have just released the first trailer for the next chapter in the worldwide smash-hit franchise that epitomizes entertaining summer popcorn movies. With the film coming out June 27th, it seems this is the true starting point for the marketing blitz. We got three character posters over the past two days, and now we can add Optimus Prime to that list as the first non-human to get the spotlight. You can check out the explosive new trailer below. Transformers: Age of Extinction stars Mark Wahlberg as the new human lead Cade Yeager, Nicola Peltz as Tessa Yeager, Jack Reynor as Shane Dyson, Stanley Tucci as the villainous Joshua, and Kelsey Grammer as Harold Attinger.
