Avengers Coming To DVD, Blu-Ray And Blu-Ray 3D This Fall

Accordingly to joblo.com, THE AVENGERS has already been given a home video release date. It’s still very early, but it looks like THE AVENGERS will be arriving on DVD, Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D early in the fall on September 25.
Below, we have a look at what could potentially be the cover art and a look at what special features will be included with the release. Word is that a 10-disc set will also be released with THE AVENGERS that will include all of the films leading up to the film (Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, Thor and Captain America), but no official word on that yet.
Personally, i think the Blu-ray 3D one is nice, but the gold doesn’t blend at all; a red would go really well, or even silver with a red spine. For us collectors and fans, something in black with just the Avengers logo would be absolutely brilliant! Although the general audience is not too familiar with the Avengers to recognize the logo itself, as opposed to saying, “Ooh, Thor is in here! And Captain America, too!”. That’s probably best served as a dream or a custom to be done up, unfortunately. I certainly do hope I can bite my tongue, and an epic cover art is released, but I’ll be fine with that Blu-ray 3D one i guess!
None of the editions are up for pre-order anywhere yet, but we’ll let you know when they are. With the movie doing so well, it’ll probably stay in theaters for another month or two; so the wait to own it won’t be too long!
What do you think? Sound off below!
