Arrow’s Second Season Gets A Premiere Date
Arrow has been a bit of a surprise hit for The CW. When first announced, a lot of people still had a bad taste in their mouth from the way Smallville had ended. However, the pilot impressed CW brass so much that they picked it up for 12 episodes. Then it premiered, and fans reacted positively to the new show prompting the network to give it a full season.
The fan support and momentum the show had gained, earned it a season two pickup before the show’s season one finale had even aired. Armed with this the creators made sure to send the show into it’s between season hiatus with a bang.
Now, we know exactly when to expect Oliver to be dishing out some more vigilante justice, as The CW has just announced the premiere date for the second season. The show will stay on its normal Wednesday night 8P.M. time slot, and return on October the 9th.
While not a lot is known about the second season of Arrow, there has been numerous things teased. Star Stephen Amell is hoping (and hinting) that we will see more characters from DC’s vast library. One of the shows main source of popularity, the island scenes, has been guaranteed a return as well.
