Anne Hathaway Would Love To Play Catwoman in BATMAN VS SUPERMAN; Not that Anyone Is Asking
Last week there was a ridiculous rumor going around that Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy would play into Batman Vs. Superman. The rumor went something like, Ben Affleck would be the same Batman and be forced out of retirement after Superman makes himself known to the world. This would open it up for other characters from the Nolan universe to come forward and be apart of the Superman/Batman world.
As ridiculous as the rumor is, stars seem to be open to the idea. Anne Hathaway, who played Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises, recently sat down with MTV where they asked her if she would like to return as Selina Kyle in Batman Vs. Superman or in a solo Catwoman movie. “I would love it if that happened,” she said. Don’t hold you breath though, because she revealed that she has not been contacted about being in the movie, and that it will probably never happen.
Once again the original rumor its self was off base to begin with. I wouldn’t mind seeing Hathaway in a solo Catwoman movie, but my own personal preference would be to keep the new Batman and the Nolan Batman completely separate. What do you think?
