Last month, Amazon released 14 pilot shows and wanted to hear viewers feedback on deciding which pilot to move forward with.

Co-writer/executive producer of “Zombieland,” Rhett Reese, took to twitter to announce that “Zombieland” the series is officially dead. Well – through Amazon at least. Check out Reese’ tweets below:

Zombieland” rated a 3.7 out of 5 stars based on over 5,000 reviews. However, the lowest-rated pilot, “Browers,” rated a 3.1 and the highest-rated, “Those Who Can’t,” grabbed a 4.4 stars.

Well, personally I’m officially bummed. I highly enjoyed the pilot and was wishing it the best. I hope Rhett Reese will look for other options for “Zombieland.” Maybe even start a KickStarter, since, well, that’s what everyone else is doing these days.
