spider-man-banner-700x170There have been a few trailer released for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game, which is an extremely loose tie-in to the upcoming film of the same name, but today a new trailer has hit that shows an amazing number of villains our hero will be squaring off against. The first real trailer showed us that Kraven the Hunter would help train the web-slinger in his new video game adventure to harness his full potential, but now we get to see exactly how all that training Spidey is doing will help.

The new villains trailer for the game from Beenox gives us a better idea of the game’s storyline and what sort of threats players will be facing. Spidey will be put to ultimate test since it looks like a whole slew of villains will be unleashed. The video features the likes of Electro, the Green Goblin, Black Cat, Kingpin, and even a quick glimpse at Carnage. The game will be released for Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC, and 3DS on April 29th. What do you think about our look at Spidey‘s video game rogues?

Go beyond the movie to experience what it’s like to BE Spider-Man like never before. Set shortly after the events of Columbia Pictures’ new film, The Amazing Spider-Man throws New York City’s brand new hero back into free-roaming, web-slinging action, as he protects the Big Apple from a deluge of unimaginable threats. Experience the new Web Rush mechanic as Spidey twists his way through the NYC skyline with unprecedented speed and grace. The game’s original story also explores beautiful indoor environments, as you’ll encounter everything from skirmishes with everyday street thugs to pulse-pounding confrontations with Spider-Man’s most lethal foes.
