Amazing Spider-Man 2 Set Photos Show A Scene Between Andrew Garfield And Jamie Foxx

by

spider-man bannerWe’ve been getting a lot of set photos from Marc Webb‘s Spider-Man sequel lately. Jamie Foxx as both Electro and nerdy Max Dillon have been spotted as well as Andrew Garfield in the new suit. Now Foxx and Garfield are together as they film an early scene in the film. The set photos and video give us a good indication of Foxx‘s character arc, so if you’re not into spoilers or possible spoilers divert your gaze! This scene seems to bring Foxx‘s early quote about Max to life:

What you’ll see is that, for his whole life, no one is talking to him. People have stolen his ideas at the big company. He’s a nobody. At a certain point, Spider-Man bumps into him and says, ‘You’re my guy. You’re my ears and eyes on the street.’ Then he says his name, [Max] and no one has ever said [Max] Dillon’s name. He goes, ‘Wow’ and, when Spider-Man leaves, he sort of thinks that, “I am Spider-Man’s partner!” He’s cutting out Spider-Man’s face and pasting it on all his boards… Everything goes bad with his mom. She doesn’t remember his birthday. He has something tragic happen and, when it turns on, he lights it up.

The pics come from the Daily Mail via Collider. You can check them all out below. What do you think about Foxx’s Max Dillon from what you’ve seen so far? The Amazing Spider-Man 2 swings into theaters May 2, 2014.
